The Sesquicentenary Celebration held at the Masonic Hall, Weymouth, was attended by the Deputy Grand Master R.W.Bro. John H Prizeman escorted by the Deputy Grand Director of Ceremonies W.Bro Adrian Cleightonhills, the Provincial Grand Master for Dorset R.W.Bro. Michael J L Whelan accompanied by his Provincial Grand Officers and numerous members and guests.

The Lodge was opened, the Provincial Grand Master entered in procession escorted by Provincial and Grand Officers. The Deputy Grand Master then entered the Lodge and was welcomed by the Provincial Grand Master offered the gavel and took the Chair. After receiving the customary salutations the Deputy Grand Master then addressed the Lodge on purpose of the meeting and how important Grand Lodge considers such occasions.

All Souls Lodge of Mark Master Masons No 126 Sesquicentenary Meeting The original Warrant, the Centenary Warrant and the Sesquicentenary Warrant were then read and the Deputy Grand Master presented the Sesquicentenary Warrant to the Worshipful Master who thanked the Deputy Grand Master for his attendance.

All Souls Lodge of Mark Master Masons No 126 Sesquicentenary Meeting The Provincial Grand Chaplain, W.Bro.Roger Carter, delivered an Oration and the Provincial Grand Master then presented nine new gavels, which had been produced to mark the occasion, to various members of the Lodge. He then continued with a brief history of what occurred at the Centenary meeting mentioning several prominent Mark Masons of the time. After the Deputy Grand Master and the Provincial Grand Master had retired, the usual business was concluded and the Lodge was closed.
