The Mark Province of Dorset runs a regular Class of Instruction for all Mark Master Masons who are looking to improve their ritual.

It is a class of instruction designed to meet your needs and enable you to take your steps to the Master’s Chair more confidently.

There are always variations in the ritual and perambulations from lodge to lodge. The Preceptors will ensure that the ritual and perambulations practised by your lodge will be reflected in the class.

The class meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month except December starting at 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The format of the class takes the form of a Mark meeting.

Opening, Minutes, Communications, Ceremony of Advancement, Risings, Closing

Each attendee will have the opportunity to  practise in every role and perambulation is given an equal place within the teachings. Reading the ritual is not encouraged but is understood to be needed during the first few times within a role.

The class meets at Branksome Masonic Hall and needs to cover the costs of using the Temple. We will therefore be charging an annual membership fee of £10 per annum.

Meeting four times a year with, if you are lucky, four rehearsals is not enough to enable a professional management of a lodge meeting and delivery of the ritual unless you are exceptional at assimilating the ritual.

WE ARE NOT  AFFILIATED TO ANY LODGE IN PARTICULAR AND ALL ARE WELCOME FROM NEW ADVANCEES TO PAST MASTERS WANTING TO BRUSH UP ON THEIR RITUAL.
