Annual Meeting of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons of Dorset
Saturday 19 September 2026
To all Mark Master Masons of The Province of Dorset,
Please be advised that the Annual Meeting of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons of Dorset is scheduled this year to be held at the Freshwater Beach Holiday Park, Burton Bradstock, Dorset, DT6 4PT on Saturday 19th September 2026.
It is hoped that all Grand Officers, Present and Past Provincial Officers and Mark Master Masons will make every effort to attend. Brethren advanced during the past year are especially welcome.
Tea, coffee, biscuits and bacon rolls will be available from 09.00 am. Brethren must be seated in the Temple by 10.45 am at the latest, for the meeting to commence on time at 11.00 am.
Luncheon will be served after the meeting at 1.30 pm, the cost of the meal, including wine, comprising the following menu is £38.50. Please advise any special dietary requirements on Application Form:
Starter – Egg Mayonaise or Pate’ with Rocket & Toast
Main – Beef Bourgignon or Mushroom Bourguignon
Dessert – Mandarin & Cointreau Trifle
Coffee & Mints

Please note numbers are limited, so applications will be allocated on receipt. All applications must be returned by 28th AUGUST 2026, late applications will not be accepted. All Brethren attending must book in, even if you are not dining, your Temple and Dining Room seat number will be displayed on the Notice Board at the Centre. Please return completed Application Forms to me either by email or to the address shown above.

Spacious pitches for caravans, motor homes or camper’s are available, or the hire of one of their holiday homes. Dorset Mark Festival 34 Gala Ball Summer Pig Roast and BBQ
Dear Mark and Royal Ark Members,
I have just come off the phone after speaking to the representatives of the festival committee. You are aware that our Mark Province is in festival mode ending in the year 2034.
The detail of that phone call was to inform me that currently only six tickets have
been sold ! for the Hog Roast Festival event. A far cry from the oversubscribed summer lunch.
Taking a deep breath, I immediately recognised, that, I have not booked or paid myself. The normal attitude, well they know I will be there!
We are truly a family and when family put themselves to great expense on the family’s behalf they deserve our support. So first of all, I owe them an apology for my direct lack of visible support. I will forward my application to attend together with finance.
Can I please ask you to follow my example and demonstrate to the committee we are fully supporting, their drive and enthusiasm, on our behalf. To raise funds for The Mark Benevolent Fund Festival 2034.
For those Provincial Officers currently in office and those to be appointed in September. I look forward to your ongoing support. Not forgetting our Mark members residing in South Dorset. Our membership is spread across the County and travel has proved to restrict attending events. The festival is a county event so please support, if you can. The event was organised to encourage family and friends to join us.
